Shikshak Sahakari Bank Limited customers can transfer fund using National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT), Real Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS) as well as IMPS platforms. You can use either of these facilities to send money across different banks, different accounts, different states and different cities.
RTGS funds transfer can be used to send amounts of Rs. 1 lakh and above. You can go RTGS transfer through net banking or by walking into any of the branches. Established in the year 1979, the Shikshak Sahakari Bank Ltd. aimed to help teachers to meet their financial needs. Consequently, it was awarded the Scheduled Status on May 22, 1999. It is the first bank to get this status within twenty years of its inception. In the year 2001, the bank was in 19th position amongst the other banks with regard to deposits while maintaining its top position among the banks of Vidarbha. Presently, the bank has 19 branches functioning in Nagpur and Chandrapur districts wherein the area of operation includes Nagpur, Chandrapur, Wardha, Yavatmal, Bhandara and Gadchiroli districts.
