Required Documents for Pan Card
PAN Card requires the submission of certain documents for the purpose of identification like all other Government identity proof. One can apply for PAN, both online and offline. There are two forms of PAN application, one is for a citizen of India, 49 A and the other is 49AA, for foreigners. PAN application can be made both for making a new PAN card and as well as if you are in need reprint and update of your existing PAN Card. There are some list of PAN documentation suggested by the Income Tax department under different categories mentioned below:
An affidavit needs to be submitted by Karta of HUF stating the applicant’s name, father's name and address of all the coparceners on the date of application of filing a new PAN.
In that case, one can submit the above documents either for minor or parents as a proof for identification.
There is a slight difference in the documents needed for PAN Card application by individuals and HUFs who are not Indian citizens. These applicants have to submit identity proof and address proof.
Company
Copy of certificate of registration issued by the registrar of companies.
Trust
An Association(Trust) formed by a group of individuals who hold assets on behalf of beneficiary or beneficiaries.
