EPF Form 19
Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) is a scheme where both an employee and employer contribute a part of their salary during the service period. The members can withdraw the lump-sum amount on retirement. They can also request for the final settlement of the EPF account once they leave the job. For this, they need to fill the Form 19 to withdraw funds from the EPF account for final settlement.
Form 19 is a two-page form. It contains the following sections:
On the first page, it will display the below-mentioned information-
On the second page, you will find the Advance Stamped Receipt which is to be filled only if you choose cheque as the mode of payment.
The Process to Fill Form 19 Online
Step 1: Firstly, you need to visit the EPF Member Portal: https://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_en/index.php
Step 2: Enter the UAN, password, and captcha to sign into the portal.
Step 3: Now select ‘Claim Form – 31, 19, 10C & 10D’ under the ‘Online Services’ section.
Step 4: Enter the last 4 digits of your linked bank account and click on “Verify” option.
Step 5: After that, click on “Yes” to sign the “Certificate of Undertaking”.
Step 6: Select the option “Only PF Withdrawal (Form-19)” from the drop-down menu in the “I want to apply for” section.
Step 7: After that, you need to mention your complete address. Then put a tick on the disclaimer and click on “Get Aadhaar OTP”.
Step 8: An OTP will be sent to the number registered with UIDAI.
Step 9: Enter the OTP in the space provided and submit your application.
Step 10: A reference number will be generated after successful submission of your application.
Step 11: The withdrawal amount is deposited in the bank account linked with your UAN in few days. Conditions to Withdraw PF amount using Form 19
Pre-requisites for Filling Form 19 Online
However, if Form 19 is present in the options, you will find Form 10C as well.
Composite Claim Form (For Offline EPF Withdrawal ONLY)
The composite Claim Form is a combination of Form 19, Form 31, Form 10C and Form 10D. Form 19 is filled for claiming final PF settlement, Form 10C is filled for pension withdrawal and Form 31 is filled for partial EPF withdrawal and Form 10D for withdrawing your monthly pension. However, only the Composite Claim Form is required to be filled in the case when you are withdrawing your EPF funds offline.
