Process to link UAN with Aadhaar Card for EPF members

For EPF Members, it is mandatory to link Unique Account Number (UAN) with their Aadhaar card for speeding up the EPF claim settlement process. The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has taken several steps in this regard. As per the unified portal of EPFO, if you wish to file an online claim for your EPF, then you need to mandatorily link your UAN with Aadhaar.

Here is the complete process of how you can easily link your UAN with Aadhaar Card:

Step 1: Visit the EPFO e-KYC portal by clicking here.

Step 2: After that click on the option 'Link UAN Aadhaar'.

Step 3: Enter your UAN and registered mobile number to generate OTP.

Step 4: After clicking on the “KYC” option, you will be redirected to a new page that will contain a list with different “Document Type” and respective fields next to them which you need to fill up along with the details of the document.

Step 5: Click on the checkbox next to the document type that you want to update and fill the “Document Number” and “Name as per Document” fields.

Step 6: Enter the captcha details and then click on the “submit” button.

Step 7: After the successful verification, Aadhaar will be linked to your UAN.
