Sankranti: Makar Sankranti is an ancient Hindu festival that is celebrated in dedication to God Surya.

Maha Shivaratri: Maha Shivaratri is celebrated in Andhra Pradesh and other states in India. On this day, Lord Shiva is worshiped and a Jagran is held by devotees of Lord Shiva at night.

Independence Day: Independence Day is celebrated throughout the country every year on 15 August. It was the day in 1947 when India was declared freedom from the administration of the British.

Ganesh Chaturthi: Ganesh Chaturthi is the celebration of the birth of Lord Ganesh, during which idols of Lord Ganesha are installed at homes and public areas on elaborate pandals.

Durgashtami: It is a part of Durga Puja. The devotees of Goddess Durga observe fast on the eighth day of Durgashtami, which is Durgashtami.

Diwali: Diwali is the biggest festival of Hindus across the world to celebrate the victory of good over evil or the triumph of light over darkness.

Christmas: Christmas is celebrated by Christians in remembrance of the birth of Jesus Christ and is celebrated on the 25th of December every year.

Srisailam: Located about 200 km from Hyderabad, Srisailam is one of the important pilgrimages centers of Lord Shiva in India. Some of the attractions include the Mallikarjun Temple and Srisailam Dam.

Lepakshi: The famous heritage site emphasizes the legacy of the Vijaynagara Empire and its legacy.
