Major November Holidays 2023

Haryana Day:  It falls on 1 November every year. The day celebrates the day when Haryana pared out of Punjab in the year 1966. The cycle race is a key attraction of Haryana Day. Musical events are organized in the evening.

Karnataka Rajyothsava: On account of Karnataka Rajyothsava, the government holiday is observed on 1 November every year. All the Kannada-speaking localities united and formed the state of Karnataka on 1 November 1956. So, people celebrate the creation of the state.

Guru Nanak Birthday: Guru Nanak was the first Sikh Guru. As the name suggests, the birth of Guru Nanak is celebrated on Guru Nanak's Birthday. The day begins with Prabhat Pheris.

Seng Kut Snem:   It is celebrated to mark the movement of Seng Khasi. Men, women, and kids wear traditional dresses and participate in community prayer.

Narak Chaturdashi:  It is observed on the fourteenth day of the Kartik month. It is a special festival for North Indian residents. People take a bath before sunrise on this day since they believe it to be propitious.
