Get PAN Card through Aadhar Card

Steps to follow are:

Step 1

Visit the official website of UTI Infrastructure and Technology Services Limited and search for a PAN card application page. You can visit the link - https://www.utiitsl.com/

Once you are on the page, click on the ‘Apply as an Indian Citizen/NRI' link.

Step 2

Once you click on the link, there are four options visible to you. Aadhaar-based e-Sign OR Aadhaar holders or apply using the e-KYC option.’ After you choose an option, you will be directed to another page where you can fill in Form 49A or 49 AA online and e-Sign it using your Aadhaar. Form 49A or Form 49AA is the form you need to fill out to apply for a PAN card.

Step 3

At the top of the page, you need to make a selection of the box’ Aadhar Holder’. Click here for choosing an option ‘Aadhar-based e-KYC option’. Selecting the box that will ensure the PAN Card form online is digitally signed by making use of the Aadhar-based e-sign. If you are applying for the PAN Card as an individual, then select the ‘Status of Applicant’ as an individual. The application fee for the same 115.95

Step 4

  • After you made a selection of the option ‘Aadhar e-sign, you can begin to fill out the form. The following information needs to be filled in the form.
  • Personal details like full name, name of the card, date of birth, details of parents, birth, gender, etc.
  • Contact details, namely telephone number, and email address.
  • Aadhar number as per section 139 AA of the Income Tax Act which requires individuals to provide their Aadhar Number at the time of application.
  • There is a capacity in the box which is a kind of declaration that whatever is stated above is true in the capacity.

Uploading of a required document:

  • Identity proof
  • Address Proof
  • Date of Birth Proof

Step 5

After you all fill in the relevant details, it is a must to recheck the information. After you have checked the form, click on the ’submit’ button. It is situated at the bottom of the page.

Step 6

After making a successful submission of the form, you will receive an acknowledgment number that you can use to track the PAN Card application.

Step-by-step process to get e-PAN using Aadhar card

This facility is being introduced keeping in mind to increase the number of people applying for PAN.

Step 1

Go to the Income Tax Website link - https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/

Step 2

In the left-hand section, there is a link to the instant e-PAN.

Step 3

You will be redirected to the terms and conditions page which we have stated earlier. Click the "Apply instant e-PAN" button.

Step 4

You will see a guideline page. Go through it and click it. Click ‘Next’.

Step 5

After that, you must fill out the form. You must mention details like name, gender, date of birth, Aadhar number, etc.

Step 6

Click on the tab that asks for consent to access Aadhar Data from UIDAI.

Press’ Submit’ to generate an e-PAN.
