Getting a learning license is a very first step towards becoming an authorized driver in India. However, the applicant needs to pass a driving license test before the learning license is issued. What is the procedure for a driving license test?
Use the form CMV (central motor vehicle) 4 to apply for a driving license test. You can get it either from the inquiry counter at an RTO or download it from the RTO website as per your convenience. Along with this, you would also need to submit three passport size photographs along with the form.

If a candidate fails to pass the driving license test, all the documents are returned to the candidate. One can reappear for the test after seven days. The applicable fees will have to be repaid.
