The Bank of Baroda in collaboration with NPCI has designed a RuPay debit card that enables the customer to swipe the card easily at ATM, POS terminals, and the online platform. The card is designed for making domestic transactions in India. The card has many attractive benefits like security features that protect the cardholder from all fraudulent activities.

  • Makes you get the experience of convenient shopping and dining at all outlets that are accepting RuPay in India.
  • Bank of Baroda RuPay Debit cards are secured with PIN-based technology and eliminating all the possibilities of fraud and misuse in case of stolen or lost debit cards.
  • Cash withdrawals are limited to Rs.25,000 per day.
  • Transaction limits at merchant outlets are capped at Rs.50,000 per day.
  • Access to more than 6,900 BOB ATMs and 1.18 lakh other ATMs in the NFS circle..

The common eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • The minimum age to apply for a Bank of Baroda Visa Vyapar Business Debit Card is 18 years.
  • One needs to have a savings or current account with a bank to attain a debit card.

The documents required to apply for the Bank of Baroda RuPay Debit Card

  • Identity proof and address proof
  • Voter ID
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Driving License
  • PAN Card
  • Passport
  • Any document that includes your photo on it that has been certified by the Central/State government and its department
  • Insurance copy
  • Utility bills like telephone (landline only), electricity, and water (not more than three months old)

How to apply for the Bank of Baroda Platinum Debit Card

  • Contact your Branch.
  • If you don't have a savings or Current Account, first open your account.
  • Get the Debit Card Application form from the Branch, fill it up and submit it to your Branch.
  • You will receive your Insta Debit Card & PIN (Personal Identification Number) at the time of submission of the application form.
  • In the case of the named Debit Card, the card will be delivered to the customer's residential address. The PIN will have to be collected from the respective Branch.
  • The customer has to activate the Insta Debit card after 24 hours from the receipt of the card by withdrawing cash from Bank ATM.
